Back to basics
I havent seen this backgorund in a long long time. Makes me miss our red No Hassle colours. Oh well.. no one wanted this to happen anyway. So it's back to home sweet home.. back before the ultimate facelift.. no wonder people cringe at their old pictures.. hehehe..

so here I am, in college.. wallowing in self-pity because I cant blog in 4gigs anymore. *ahAcKS* elise is the technical one. the smart one simply.. so I'm the lame ass bitch who doesnt do much about figuring out ftps.. I'll just do the bickering and complaining and hope that elise doesnt pump too much anger in her veins to whoop my butt.. :P It's back to the blogspot. *pout* Okay okay.. no pressure!

one of the few things I dont like about blogger is that if you spend too much time typing directly on the site, it could just vanish.. leaving you .. *dOHH!!* &$#(*&^#$* !! Oh well.. it's back to the drawing board.. hehe.. I do like pink!

This morning i woke up with a jolt when someone told me that there was some shooting in a Melbourne university. A quick check with Yahoo!, revealed that it happened in Monash University and 2 people were killed and another 8 were injured. I am glad no one i know got hurt, but it scares the shit out of me to know of such horrible happenings. Read the full story here

"Anything But Ordinary"
AVRIL LAVIGNE

Sometimes I get so weird
I even freak myself out
I laugh myself to sleep
It's my lullaby
Sometimes I drive so fast
Just to feel the danger
I wanna scream
It makes me feel alive

Is it enough to love?
Is it enough to breathe?
Somebody rip my heart out
And leave me here to bleed
Is it enough to die?
Somebody save my life
I'd rather be anything but ordinary please

To walk within the lines
Would make my life so boring
I want to know that I
Have been to the extreme
So knock me off my feet
Come on now give it to me
Anything to make me feel alive

Is it enough to love?
Is it enough to breathe?
Somebody rip my heart out
And leave me here to bleed
Is it enough to die?
Somebody save my life
I'd rather be anything but ordinary please
I'd rather be anything but ordinary please.

Let down your defences
Use no common sense
If you look you will see
that this world is a beautiful
accident turbulent suculent
opulent permanent, no way
I wanna taste it
Don't wanna waste it away

Sometimes I get so weird
I even freak myself out
I laugh my self to sleep
It's my lullaby

Is it enough?
Is it enough?
Is it enough to breathe?
Somebody rip my heart out
And leave me here to bleed
Is it enough to die?
Somebody save my life
I'd rather be anything but ordinary please

Is it enough?
Is it enough to die?
Somebody save my life
I'd rather be anything but ordinary please
I'd rather be anything but ordinary please.

Its fucking official; my free server has diabled cgi and perl suppost meaning that Greymatter just cant run on the old(new) site anymore. Meaning we fucking can't update the site anymore unless we do it manually, which i have fucking no idea how to do and it would probably be tooo difficult anyway and it also means that the fucking comments wont work anymore. Sorry for rambling here but that bloody site took alot of effort on my part and believe me, i am no expert in all this cgi, html, perl and css shit...now i am fucking pissed and fucking depressed and to top it all up i have fucking tons of assignments to finish....

Now i really need some help, i have concluded that the only way to savage my site is to use blogger and upload the entries into my site via ftp...the problem?? I can't figure out how to properly do this... I still wanna keep the old blog (just for me to look at) but at the same time have a new one uploaded via blogger. Can someone tell me it this is possible?? Anyone willing to help, please icq me at 122811504.

Blogger's Block

hehehe.. hi Seok.. here's me getting my butt into action and finding something to write about. *winK* Hmm.. I was in Genting the day before, and I havent been getting enough sleep this whole week. Was out boozing in the Red Chamber (Bangsar) over the weekend, I think...Li Ean was trying to set me up with her friend, Kelvin..real sweet fella..after that we went over to Susan's place for a massive drinking session. I dont ever want to see the words "Hennessy" again.. and that turpentine dry gin that starts with a E.. just thinking about it makes me wanna puke..

On Tuesday night, Susan and I did one of the craziest things.. driving up to Genting with a bunch of high school friends.. and putting money into Uncle Lim's pocket.. heheh.. or taking, whichever you wish :P Beginner's luck never ceast its charms, huh? There were eight of us; Raymond, Yeng Yee, Bernard, Rudy, Chee Hoe, Ruby, Susan and myself.. and Yengs was totally underdressed to be into the Casino, so Raymond and Chee Hoe decided to accompany him to get the apartment room first (in Ria). At about 4 am, the rest of us went to the apartment and wanted to scare the other 3, so we sorta hid around, making sure they couldnt see us from the peephole of the room door.. me and Susan were at the corner of the block near the elevator.. 3 seconds later, Yengs emerged from the elevator, saw both me and Susan, and started screaming like madness! I was like.. "what the..??" Gosh.. talk about 3 big pussys.. he thought we were ghosts.. hahaha.. been watching too many horror movies.. (like THE EYE).. which makes getting into elevators something to be scared about!! Throughout the whole night, we could hear the guys screaming like girls, being freaked over the slightest things.. here's power to the womenfolk.. now we know who are the weaker sex!

haha.. do excuse us for the lack of updates.. we suddenly suffered from a mild case of blogger's block.. my brains are still fried from all those long nights and lack of sleep.. furthermore, today's class began at 8 am.. ZzzZzzz..nevertheless, lets look forward to our new facelift..cheerios :)

I’m back…
It’s not like I’ve been anywhere or doing anything important lately, but I feel pretty bad about the prolonged holiday from my blog. There’s just nothing much to do in JB (I am still in JB) therefore there’s really nothing much to write about. Anyway I finally finished our blog’s new layout…I got bored of this one, all white and simple, it’s too squeaky clean for me. I just need to tweak it a little bit more and in a few days time we will be bidding good-bye to Blogspot. This probably will be the last post I make here.

Yesterday I went shopping in City Square, JB with Thomas and my sis and to my utmost horror, I stumbled upon a shop called…Elise!!! If it was the name of a boutique or a café or even a pub, I probably wouldn’t have even batted my eyelids, after all there is a certain car called Elise :P. However a huge promotional banner read: Elise-permanent hair removal center! And next to those already atrocious wordings was a picture of a lady showing of her snow white, hairless armpits…Now everyone in JB will think I nick-named myself after a permanent hair removal center. Just great...

Ohh…and I watched Minority Report a few days ago. It was really first-class Steven Spielberg stuff, breathtaking effects, nail biting storyline and Tom Cruise looking really buffed. Personally the movie is worth a watch especially if you are into those science fiction flicks. However the Ah Bengs sitting behind us were dreadfully irritatingly noisy. They kept on talking during the movie and kept saying things like WahLau!! Aiyor!! when the movie got interesting. Even worst, there’s one scene where John (Tom Cruise) walks into someone else’s hotel room where there’s plenty of children pictures on the bed, the Ah Bengs where practically screaming, “This fella killed his son!!! This is the killer! This is the killer!” Geez, so irritating!!! So uncivilized!!! Dammit these people should just pop more E, and shake their brains out through their ears.

Speaking about Ah Bengs and ecstasy, I went to Sanctum, a famous “Feng Tau” joint in JB last weekend. Honestly I’ve never been to such a place before it’s a pretty new experience. When I arrived, we were lead to our “room”; there were about another 10 people already they’re mostly chatting and a few singing along to the karaoke machine. The room was brightly lit and the only music was coming from the karaoke machine, such a boring sight or so I thought. Soon more people arrived, it seems some bookie that made a lot of money from these people during the world cup opened four rooms for us (though I hardly knew most of the people). Anyway the waiters brought in jugs of Coke and beer and a while later the “stuff” arrived. Everyone happily popped the heavenly white pill and suddenly the whole room took on a new form.

The lights and the karaoke were turned off and instead techno was blasting through the speakers. The room had it’s own disco lights and the sound system was excellent, the techno too was really incredible. After a while, a bunch of Ah Bengs were dancing around the dark room and people everywhere were shaking their heads. The party got wilder and wilder as more and more people joined in the dancing. We left after about 3 hours, the loud music was bringing on a headache and I was paranoid the police would raid the place. The rest, of course, stayed on into the wee hours of the morning, till the effects of the drug wore off.

I think if I were on the drug the place would be heaven. Even in my ecstasy-less state I had a pretty good time. The only reason we left early was because the music was way-too loud. The room was just like a disco, great lights, great sound, excellent music the only difference is that it’s better. We didn’t need to squeeze with other people, I could sit on the sofa whenever I wanted, I didn’t sweat even a bit and no one was pushing or shoving. It definitely beats even the most “hottest” places in KL. No wonder none of my JB friend like any clubs in KL. In this place people can drink, get high and have fun with their friends minus the crowdedness of most popular night spots elsewhere. Of course some people want to be caught in crowded places, jam-packed with people wriggling everywhere. They want to the noticed, to be cool, to be seen wearing fancy clothes and be with the other “in” people. For such attention-deprived people, Bintang Walk is the place for you. Of course not all people who visit clubs in KL are attention seeking, there’s probably nowhere else to go; most clubs are like this. Sad ain’t it???

Well for me, I am sick of pretending I like the music in KL, I am sick of paying for pricey drinks watered-down with tap water, I am sick of squeezing in pack places, I am sick of people sweating all over me. I think I’ll wait for more places like Sanctum to open minus the ecstasy. For now I’ll stay home. It’s time to hang-up my dancing shoes…
